My favorite commentor on The "Blog" of "Unnecessary" Quotation Marks is Jeff. Jeff is a published columnist and (apparently) a successful frelance writer- and he thinks I'M funny! Yay! If a journalist/graduate student finds things I write entertaining, maybe there's hope that I really COULD write that book someday.
Other Stuff
Hmmm. If only I had some scissors to open the package...
WHO invented those stupid packages anyway?
Another Funny Mother I Don't Know who I found on the "Blog" of "Un...", posted some VERY useful information on her blog today. Go check it out.
Twilight News
The movie which is coming out in December is in production right now. I was excited about this news at first but the more I think about it, the more I think they're probably going to slaughter the story. I don't like their casting decisions, especially for Bella. In an interview with MTV's movie blog, the actress sounded like she hadn't even read the book.
That is so wrong.
I was going to link to the interview but today is the announcement for the next book and about 10 zillion breathless women are trying to get on stepheniemeyer.com right now, making this impossible. I'll try to put up the link later.
The official release date for the fourth book "Breaking Dawn", is August 2, 2008. (Insert SQUEAL OF EXCITEMENT here.) It is now available for preorder on Amazon, and Barnes and Noble dot coms.

How do you know Jeff thinks you are funny? Just curious.
Part of what I love about The "Blog" is all the comments people leave there. I don't normally go through blog comments and I NEVER go back and read the same ones again to see what new things people have said- except on that site. (The comments are oftentimes more funny than the stupid signs in the pictures.) I think a lot of people who go there do the same thing because there are frequently short conversations between commentors. This Jeff guy is constantly cracking me up so the other day I left a comment to him that said I look forward to his comments. He commented back, "Thanks, bradys! You too. I can't remember which ones exactly, but a few of yours on the last dozen or so posts actually made me laugh out loud." So that's how I know.
I just checked out "Twilight" from the school library today at our librarians insistance. One of my seventh graders told me it was the best book she's ever read. Now I can find out what all this excitement is all about!!
I find it apalling that a teacher of teens has not read this yet!!! ;) You should know though- the first one is good, but the second and third ones are even better....
I find it appalling that at teacher of teens cannot remember to use a possessive apostrophe. I meant "librarian's insistance"... how embarrassing.
Thanks for the info on this. I just Pre-Ordered from Amazon.com Stephenie's books "The Host" and "Breaking Dawn". I'm excited.:)
I have to disagree with you aberjaber...the first Twilight book is the best! Okay, it's "MY" favorite, then the 3rd. The 2nd one depressed me through most of it...I cried. But I was still intrigued and loved it anyway.:)
And hey...it doesn't matter if Jeff thinks your funny or not. I DO! Isn't my opinion all that matters anyway? Sheesh!
